Periodicals
The following items are available to be read in the library.
Magazines
Parenting, Family Fun, Smithsonian, Modern Maturity, & Kids Discover.
Newspaper
Recent issues of the Aurora County Standard & White Lake Wave.

Loan Policies
No library card is required to check out materials. For overdue items, there is a charge of 10 cents a week per item.
Books & Books on Tape
Check-out period is two weeks. An item may be renewed for additional two-week periods unless there is a waiting list for the item.
Videos
We encourage patrons to return videos within one week.

Interlibrary Loan
Books and other materials can be ordered through the South Dakota State Library free of charge. The loan period is generally one month, and items often can be renewed if there isn't a waiting list. Your librarian, Mrs. Linda K. Dodds, can help you obtain materials using this service.

Computers
Four Gateway computers have been donated to the library from the state government. These are available for internet access and word processing.


Summer Reading Program
This eight-week program is offered every summer for two age groups. Children from age four through those who will be in 2nd grade make up one group, and children from 3rd-5th grade make up another group. Our program typically adopts the South Dakota Summer Reading Program theme. During the program children participate in reading activities, related crafts and games, and an end-of-summer picnic.
