This ceramic glossy tile provides a brilliant canvas for best artwork and photo reproduction. These are King Coat Ceramic Gloss Tiles, which the coating is harder than other Gloss Ceramic Tiles. They are not as susceptible to scratches as other Gloss Tiles. Best used as decorative only.

Porcelain tile is an off white tile that generates a more muted or artistic color reproduction. It is a non-porous tile, impervious to freeze/thaw conditions. Recommended for all water applications. You may use standard adhesive recommended for porcelain tile. Sanded or non-sanded grout may be used.
Tiles can be cleaned with any household non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge.

A flat stone finish that presents any art or image in an old-world fashion. The tiles are very porous and must be sealed if used in water applications such as showers or back splashes. Tumbled Stone is a compressed sandstone product. Each tile is individually cut, causing some variation in color, texture, size and thickness. You may find chipped edges and corners missing on various tiles. You may use standard adhesive recommended for tumbled stone tile. Sanded or non-sanded grout may be used.

This is a rustic, matte, ceramic tile with a unique near-stone, textured finish.
You may use any commercially available adhesive for ceramic tile. We recommend non-sanded grout. You may use any commercially available ceramic sealant without damaging the image. These tiles may be used for outside installations ONLY where freeze/thaw is not a factor. Tiles can be cleaned with any household non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge.

These tiles are King Coat Coated. These Smooth glass tiles have a frosted backing, and are for decorative use only - in tile stands or framed pieces. The tile is translucent, and can be used in lighted applications. If you wish to frame your tile, you should spray the back of the tile with white primer after sublimation to give it opacity.

NOTE: The white coating on the tiles may also extend to the edges. The imprinting will cover this area on the edges. However, all the tiles may not have the white coating applied evenly on the edges. This may give the appearence the printing is coming off the tile. If the tile is going to be used in our lighted stands, we try to use tiles that look like the coating is applied evenly on the edges. But this may be impossible in some cases.

BISON™ Glass Tiles or King Coat Coated Glass Tiles for Sublimation Imprinting. These glass tiles are a dynamic alternative to ordinary floor coverings and are suitable for high-traffic residential and commercial applications such as kitchens, hallways, foyers, business lobbies, executive suites, and boardrooms. The tiles represent a breakthrough in longevity due to placement of the image on the back-side of the tile. This protects the image from fading due to sunlight exposure and from wearing away due to foot traffic.

The tiles can also be used for back-lit walls, wall murals, countertop installations, and swimming pools. Individual glass tiles feature a textured finish and are ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) compliant.

Should these tiles be exposed to water on a regular basis, a silicon grout will be required to keep water from collecting on the back of the tiles.

Tempered glass tiles cannot be cut, so for applications where cutting is necessary (corners, holes, etc. in floor installations), you would use non-tempered tile. Tempering is added to the larger tiles for strength. The 6" x 6" and 6" x 8" tiles met the ANSI and ASTM standards above without tempering. The 8" x 10" tiles are always tempered. For tile installations, you would want to use the tempered tiles except where cutting is needed. The non-tempered tile may be cut with a glass cutter, or a tile saw (wet saw application, diamond blade). It is only recommended to use MegaFlex Ultimate Thin-Set Mortar in White for mounting the textured glass tile in any application. Manufactured by Custom Building Products (www.custombuildingproducts.com), this adhesive should be readily available in most areas, and has exhibited superior bond strength without damaging the SingleStep white backing on the tiles. You should use a grout specifically formulated for use with glass tile. Tiles can be cleaned with any household non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge.
